Dr. Lindi van Jaarsveldt

Dr. Lindi was born in South Africa and started her career as a nurse in the city of Port Elizabeth, where she met her future husband.

In 1998, she and her husband decided to visit Canada for a working holiday. They fell in love with Manitoba and decided to make Canada their home.

Dr. Lindi became interested in dentistry while working in Flin Flon and decided to pursue it as a second career. She was accepted to the faculty of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba, where she met Dr. Alex and Dr. Bergen. In her third year of the program, Dr. Lindi was the recipient of the Peter Jackin Memorial Award, and in her final year she received the Humanitarian Award.

Now a mother of four children, Dr. Lindi loves working with children and has an innate ability to make them feel comfortable and at ease while at a dental appointment.

When she is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Lindi enjoys spending time with her husband, children and dogs, Penny and Phoebe.

Dr. Lindi speaks Afrikaans.
